An object that expressly recalls what psychoanalysis has defined as the “child code”, Mary Biscuit is a sweets box in which the shape reflects the function: it is a “biscuit” whose evocative power does not stop at the soft, rounded and maternal shapes but involves the sense of touch (the translucent material is particularly pleasant to the touch) and also the sense of smell: the lid in fact evokes the delicate aroma of butter biscuits.
